Being a bride is a unique experience. Besides the obvious happiness of your upcoming wedding, you are probably also nervous, anxious and a bit overwhelmed. Brides have more decisions to make than most CEO’s. What to wear? What to eat? Where to go? Who to invited? Where to seat everyone? Like most stressful times in life, you may find that it is your skin that suffers the most. We’ve developed this handy guide to keep you looking beautiful, even under the gun! It’s a bride’s guide to beautiful skin! We want your skin looking great from head to toe. You’ll be a beautiful bride!

Beauty From Within

Brides should drink lots of fresh, clean water. Until after the wedding make your water bottle your best friend. Flushing toxins out of your body will decrease the chances of breakouts and skin eruptions. Stress is a huge factor in making us break out. Fight stress by spending a few minutes every day walking or doing some type of light exercise. Also taking vitamins will help you body to fight stress. We recommend Life’s Fortune MultiVitamins and Minerals. You’ll have energy and feel great! If you are a bride, you’ll need it!

Exfoliate

About a month before the wedding, exfoliate your whole body. You can find some inexpensive scrubs that will take away those tiny bumps and blemishes. You’ll be surprised at how fresh and smooth your legs and arms will feel. Don’t forget to exfoliate those hands too! Many wedding photographers like getting pictures of the bride’s hands. After you exfoliate, bride, hydrate!

Moisturize

Use a replenishing lotion with vitamin E to keep your skin moisturized. Have tubes of your favorite vitamin E lotion in your purse, beside your bed and by the kitchen sink. Use them every time you look at them. Moisturize your body after your showers and baths. Spend some time soaking in moisturize beads with aloe and vitamin E. You’ll have skin so soft, he’ll want to touch it! You’ll be the softest bride in town!

You can also find moisturizers that give a hint of bronze in them if you would like to add a little color to your skin before the big day. Be careful using self tanners though. If you are not careful with the application you can get stains appearing between fingers, toes and elbows. You don’t want to be the orangest bride in town.

Microdermabrasion

About one month before the wedding you should treat your face with a Microdermabrasion treatment. You don’t want to wait to close to the wedding to do this because Microdermabrasion can sometimes bring below surface dirt to the surface in the form of a blackhead or pimple. However, don’t skip the treatment. Microdermabrasion is needed to give your skin that flawless appearance you want in your wedding pictures. If you have no negative results then repeat the Microdermabrasion treatment two weeks before the wedding to remove the tiny bumps and pimples from your facial skin. You can also use this on your hands this will help you hands look perfect in your bridal pictures.

Let’s Face It

Always moisturize your face with a facial moisturizer before applying your wedding make up. Facial moisturizers have special ingredients that are designed to protect and lubricate facial skin. Regular moisturizers may contain fats that you don’t want to use on your face. Use a mineral powder for a foundation. This will keep your skin breathing and looking perfect for your big day. Never, ever change make up or facial skin care treatments right before your wedding. Test make up far enough in advance to recognize if you are going to have problems like reactions or worse. You’ll be the perfect bride with beautiful skin.

Protect Your Skin

Above all, protect your skin by using SPF. You don’t want sudden brown spots, or sun spots popping up on your face, shoulders or arms. Use a moisturizer that has SPF.
