A Look Back At Palin

I was taking a look through some fellow Associated Content Producers’ latest works and they are on Sarah Palin, giving her kudos. I still haven’t figured out for what, but I digress. The commercials on TV thanking her (again I haven’t figured out for what) pretend to be hilarious, but secretly make people like me want to either turn of the TV or throw it out the window. I am annoyed how she still does interviews and still has absolutely nothing to say!

For this article I decided to find some of Palin’s quotes.

“As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where- where do they go? It’s Alaska. It’s just right over the border.” –Sarah Palin, explaining why Alaska’s proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience, interview with CBS’s Katie Couric, Sept. 24, 2008

This is still one of my favorite quotes. I bet Vladimir Putin picked up Khruschev’s shoe and laughed heartily at that. If I were Putin, I’d have taken Alaska back for that one, considering the quickest way I read somewhere, is going the in the opposite direction and coming in through New York. With that said, rest your weary heads, it’s not happening. Did she want to start something? No. She just has no idea what she’s talking about.

“They are also building schools for the Afghan children so that there is hope and opportunity in our neighboring country of Afghanistan.” –Sarah Palin, speaking at a fundraiser in San Francisco, Oct. 5, 2008.

Geography. Geography. Geography. Canada, United States, Mexico…Afghanistan…Yes, it must be there right next to the country of Africa. *rolls eyes*

“A gasline will benefit the Alaska economy by lowering energy costs and creating thousands of jobs. It will strengthen national security by reducing U.S. dependence on foreign energy. And we will build a gasline with minimal impact on the environment while supplying Alaska and the rest of the U.S. with clean-burning energy.”

Drill baby drill? Um…no. You know that pipeline that Alaska has? It always leaks. It We just don’t hear about every incident. Also a gasline is NOT clean-burning energy. People and animals who live in Alaska also wouldn’t be able to fart within a heart beat of the gasline cause it would explode.

I don’t know how to conclude this article, other than saying Oy and I am so glad she is not in office!
