I recently spotted Edwards Georgia Pecan Pie in the frozen dessert section of my local grocery store. This pie was so tempting. I decided to purchase this pie! Here is what I discovered!
The picture of this pie, on the front of the box of this product, looked fantastic! It showed a lovely pecan pie loaded with lots and I mean lots of pecans! Yum. I could not resist. The words “with golden pecans in a flaky crust” were captivating to me, as a consumer. This is a “thaw and serve” product and what could be easier than that? I purchased a two pound pecan pie for around six to seven dollars. One pecan pie serves eight people. I have tried out many Edwards pies and I am usually very pleased with their performance and taste! Edwards has banana cream pies, lemon pies and many other flavors of pies. Living in South Georgia, I know a good Southern pecan pie when I taste one!
I could not wait to try out Edwards Georgia Pecan Pie and write a product review about it. There are many ways to serve Edwards Georgia Pecan Pie. One fantastic fact about this product is that it can be thawed at room temperature and served. It will remain perfect to serve for twenty-eight days! At room temperature! That is great, in my opinion! If you like a warm pecan pie, you can heat this pie in a conventional oven for 10 to twenty minutes at 350 degrees on a cookie sheet. You need to let this pie stand for five minutes after cooking. You can also microwave this pecan pie. In less than one minute, this pecan pie is ready to serve! Let it stand for one minute before serving. This pie can be stored in the freezer, refrigerator or at room temperature. I loved that! This product makes an excellent and easy dessert to take traveling with you on holidays! It is a traditional holiday favorite that is easy to serve!
When I tasted Edwards Georgia Pecan Pie, I was very delighted! This Georgia pecan pie is delicious. It tastes homemade. That is wonderful! There are plenty of pecans in this pie and they are large ones! I loved everything about this dessert! It indeed does taste like a homemade Georgia pecan pie. I rate Edwards Georgia Pecan Pie five stars out of stars. It was perfect. You can pass this pie off as a homemade one, if you wish to. They will believe you. I loved this product!
