As American Idol gets underway, the top 36 finalist are now nervously performing their last chance to get in the top 12 of American Idol. Who will get in, and who will get out?
Tuesday’s nights show will last a full two hours, if you ask me, this is a little long. Yes, we like to see the contestants, and their families, and the tears, but after awhile, we could do away with Ryan talking with the families, as we just want one thing… We want the contestants to sing. Not only sing, but pick American Idol Views want to hear songs that will bring us off our feet.
Tips for the American Idol Contestants
Make sure your hair is picture perfect. There is nothing worse than watching someone sing who’s hair has one piece sticking straight up in the air.
Wear snazzy clothes (you need to look the part if you’re going to be on American Idol). Be real, but remember you are on national television.
Bring your voices! We want voices we won’t forget any time soon!
Pick a song you can sing! Please, no Celine Dion or Maria Carey!
Out of last week’s 3 Top 12 Finalist, my prediction is that Danny Gokey will make the final 3 show. Yes, he is that good! With a powerhouse of a voice, and a personality to match, he has all the makings of a true American Idol. And, if you’ve heard his story, you know that his story is a fabulous one at that. And yes, there is something to be said when we hear a song and know we would buy a ticket to go see him in concert.
Of course, with others battling for the same title, like Michael Sarver and Alexis Grace who have also made their own walk into the Top 12 American Idol Finalist. This week, we will see 3 new contestants make the final 12. Come March 12, hopefully, all of our favorites will make it into the final 12, and not have their dreams shattered as they get upstaged by others who come out to rock the house.
American Idol Favorites
If you have a favorite, you want them to really bring their best. In the first weeks of American Idol, I already knew who my faves where, and Michael Sarver was in my list of American Idol Favorites. After watching his performance last Tuesday night, I was sadly disappointed by his performance. I didn’t think he sang well, nor did I think he picked a song right for him. When I heard Seacrest say his name, I couldn’t have been more surprised.
My Top American Idol Picks So far:
Danny Gokey has my number one vote as of right now.
