The Celebrity Apprentice will return to NBC on Sunday, March 1st at 9/8c. This season’s show promises bigger celebrities and bigger egos. Celebrity, ego, and competition translates into greater conflicts. This could be one of the best seasons of The Apprentice and better than last year’s initial season of The Celebrity Apprentice.
Donald’s First Task for the Celebrity Apprentice Competitors – Sweet
The first task on Celebrity Apprentice, as seen on NBC.com, seems easy enough. The celebrities are going to create, bake, and sale cupcakes. The team that sales the most, either in cupcakes or through celebrity friends purchasing high dollar cupcakes, will win. The task seems easy enough, but we’ve seen celebrities try to hustle their wares on the streets of New York before. The key to this task will be location. Who know New York the best?
The Men’s Celebrity Apprentice Team Understands the Task
With their hearts set to win Herschel Walker is the manager of the Cupcake competition. The men’s team, on their preview video, seems confident in themselves and their celebrity status. They fully expect to ice the women on the cupcake competition.
Two Strong Willed Celebrities Clash on the Women’s Celebrity Apprentice Team
It appears Joan Rivers takes the helm on the first task for the women, but the cupcake queen has her hands full with know-it-all, straight shooter Annie Duke. Annie takes the typical stance to prevent her firing if she loses when she says she just “wants to go on the record” opposing the locations the women plan to sell cupcakes.
Annie Duke is hedging her bets to stay on Celebrity Apprentice whether her team wins or lose. The problem with that is that folks who pull those stunts to fly under the radar are usually among the first on the chopping block.
Celebrity Conflict and Competition
Egos will clash; a friendly competition will get fierce. Each celebrity is competing for the charity of their choice, but they are also competing for their pride.
Winning and losing puts their celebrity status on the line.
