Being a fashion diva doesn’t mean you need to spend heaps of cash. There are many ways to have a closet packed full of stylish clothing for very economical prices! Many women fear that if they don’t have a stuffed wallet then they can’t afford attractive clothing; some end up settling on sweat pants, tourist T-shirts or outfits that have out run their course of many years worth of usage. Below you’ll find tips on how to obtain incredibly hot outfits on a budget almost any woman can afford!
At the mall – Many of the clothing stores such as Rave, Body Shop, XII, etc. will have clearance racks towards the front or back of the store. This is where you can grab really cute clothing for a big chunk off of the original price! Basically what happens is; clothing shops sell things by “what’s in” for a specific season, once the season is over they need to clear out the unsold items for new merchandise – thus, taking a price hit on inventory. Their loss, your gain! Next time you’re at the mall shopping and see that awesome little top you’ve just got to’ have, be sure to ask the sales clerk when new season items will be coming in. If you’re willing to take a gamble and wait it out, you just might be surprised at how much of a savings you’ll get on that very top! I do always recommend asking though because you’ll have to keep in mind that the clerks will always know the upcoming days of inventory movement – thus, they have the jump on you to purchase items themselves or tell their friends. By asking them yourself you’ll have just as good of odds to grab up the goods.
Thrift Stores – Now don’t start off by cringing at the thought of this one. I know when it comes to the idea of a thrift store; most women have ideas of dirty outdated and very unstylish clothing. This isn’t true though! While there are times when it may take some ‘digging’ through racks to find something appealing, there are so many bargains that can be found at a thrift store. You’ve got to realize that the merchandise there is on many occasions’ things that are perfectly fine. Women may be clearing out their closet for more room, not able to fit in clothing any longer, or no longer like the appearance of something specific – donating it off to the local thrift. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been out with my mom at the thrift store and have seen her pick up very expensive name brand dresses for mere dollars (I’m talking things that may have cost anywhere from $50-$150 originally!). So next time you’re passing by you may want to stop in and take a peek from time to time, you never know what you’re going to find! Not to mention it’s an awesome place to pick up accessories such as belts and purses for yard sale prices.
