MySpace has thousands of applications to choose from to add to your page. These range from games, quizzes, sport teams communities to news, blogs, and poker. I have experienced and used several of these type of MySpace applications. The best MySpace Applications of 2008, in my opinion, are Bumper Stickers, Mobsters, Poker Palace, and PlayList.
The Best MySpace Application of 2008, #1: Bumper Stickers
This application consists of adding a cork board to your MySpace page. From there, you and your friends can add various logos, quotes, pictures, and saying to the cork board. You can send also send these Bumper Stickers to your friends. They have to have the Bumper Stickers app installed on their page in order for them to show up when you send them. If they do not have the Bumper Stickers application installed, an invite will be sent to them along with a note saying you have send them a bumper sticker. There is everything imaginable to add to your cork board. You can also upload you own bumper stickers to your page and for others to access and use.
The Best MySpace Application of 2008, #2: Mobsters
This application is a game. You go through the rankings to work you way up in the mob world. You gather equipment, properties, do missions, fight others. The more people you have in your mob, the stronger you are. A downside to this game is that if you really wan to be successful, you have to add more and more friends to your mob, which may include adding people to your friends list that you may not necessarily know. You can invite your current friends to join as well. This game is currently the #1 game app on MySpace.
The Best MySpace Application of 2008, #3: Poker Palace
This application is of course, poker. It is free to play and fun. There are different tables you can play at that have higher and lower wagers. Every day that you play it, you are given $2,000 in playing money. Poker Palace even gives you $100 for each friend you invite to the game. They also get $100 from the invite from you if they join as well. The reason I started playing Poker Palace because there was a link between it and MySpace Mobsters. They had a special mission that if you joined Poker Palace and earned so much money, then you would gain a new vehicle for Mobsters.
The Best MySpace Application of 2008, #4: Play List
This application allows you to make your own play list to add to your page. You can add up to 200 songs on each play list. You are also allowed to have multiple play lists from which you can switch in between them. You can name each play list as well, to make it easier to keep track of them. Newly added to this application was the ability to make video play lists. It has the same concept as the music play lists, except it is videos instead of just songs.
