Best Nonprofit Charity Blogs of 2008

by yup tab

Charity blogs combine passion with a cause. Blogging has worked its way into mainstream life for millions of people around the globe. Charities worldwide have put this technology to use to connect with others like never before. As a nonprofit director, I can attest to the positive impact of blogs for charity.

It should be noted that some organizations (such as the American Red Cross) were not listed here because I was unable to find a blog for their organization. Local chapters may have opted to do local blogs. When researching this article these were the parameters I kept in mind:

Blog should be owned and operated by IRS designated 501c3 charities. They should have gripping testimonies, covey information and be updated regularly. The following is my personal list of the top 8 charity blogs of 2008.
