Breakfast is normally a very casual affair in my home with cereal and fruit as the standard. On weekends and holidays, however, I like to make the meal a bit more exciting. This past Christmas morning, I decided to cook a large country style breakfast with something sweet for “dessert.” I absolutely love Buehler’s biscuits, so I decided to give their cinnamon rolls a try. Here is what I discovered about Buehler’s Cinnamon Rolls.
Beuhler’s Cinnamon Rolls are packaged in a twelve point four ounce refrigerated tube. Each tube contains eight cinnamon rolls which is perfect for my family of four. I paid only $1.99 for this product, which I thought was quite inexpensive and fit in nicely with my Christmas breakfast budget.
Beuhler’s Cinnamon Rolls are very simple to make at home and are ready in minutes. After preheating the oven to four hundred degrees, I opened the tube and separated the rolls. According to the directions printed clearly on the back of the package, I placed the cinnamon rolls on a greased nine inch cake pan with the sides touching each other. After baking for fifteen minutes, the rolls were ready to remove from the oven. The smell in my kitchen at this point was absolutely fabulous and perfect for Christmas morning. After allowing the cinnamon rolls to cool a bit, I took the icing packet that was included in the tube and decorated them with the thick vanilla icing.
Each Beuhler’s Cinnamon Roll contains one hundred and fifty calories. There is six grams of Fat, with one point five grams of Saturated Fat and one gram of Trans Fat. There is three hundred and ten milligrams of Sodium, twenty two grams of Total Carbohydrate, one gram of Dietary Fiber, eleven grams of Sugar and two grams of Protein. There is also six percent of Iron in each roll. For those with allergy concerns, it should be noted that this product contains wheat, eggs and soy.
After eating our holiday breakfast of eggs, sausage and toast, we were definitely in the mood for something sweet. We each eagerly selected a Beuhler’s Cinnamon Roll and took a bite. The cinnamon rolls were delicious! They were sweet, sticky, soft and gooey – exactly what you want in a cinnamon roll! I was immediately impressed with these delicious, easy to bake treats. I have paid twice the price of Beuhler’s Cinnamon Rolls for more popular brands and could truly see no difference in the taste or quality.
Overall, I would rate Beuhler’s Cinnamon Rolls five out of five food stars. The price, ease in preparation and delicious flavor has me looking forwarding to making these breakfast treats again. Easter is coming and I know that I will definitely include this sweet treat in the holiday breakfast for my family.
