Celebrating Mardi Gras in the Wilmington, North Carolina area can be both fun and rewarding . There are many restaurants, clubs and bars offering Mardi gras specials and parties but I have select a few that stand out from the rest for various reasons.
Fat Tony’s is famous for his Fat Tuesday celebration of Mardi Gras. This year it will be February 24. There will be live music with the New Orleans sound from Mike Wolfe and the Wolfe Gang. They have everything you need from Mardi gras beads to king cake, and Pat O’s hurricanes. This is hands down the best party in Wilmington and you don’t want to miss it. Get there early before the place fills up!
