Without doubt, Comic-Con New York 2009 will draw thousands of comic-book and anime fans during the event, held from Feb. 6 to Feb. 9, 2009. Held in the Jacob Javitz Center in New York City, Comic-Con 2009 has rules for attendees and those unenlightened may discover the ignorance of event procedures to their dismay. Comic-Con 2009 allows the use of video cameras and camcorders within the event, only requesting attendees respect the privacy and wishes of others. This means if a Comic-Con 2009 exhibitor, speaker, or other guest at the event does not wish to become involved in a photo opportunity, back off respectfully. No pets, other than service animals like guide dogs and other animals of this type are allowed. There are no Child Care services at Comic-Con 2009, it is recommended that all minors be accompanied by a supervising adult. There is no PA System in the Jacob Javitz Center, so if your child is displaced, it will be a huge problem.
As far as what apparel to wear to Comic-Con New York 2009, informal clothing would be an excellent choice. Also, due to the size of the Comic-Con 2009 venue, comfortable walking shoes will make the event much more enjoyable, as there are hundreds of exhibitors to survey. The Jacob Javitz Center plays host to Comic-Con New York 2009, and offers a coat check service for outerwear garments.
Within the Jacob Javitz Center, there are 2 food courts located on level 1 and level 3, and fans attending Comic-Con 2009 are offered an opportunity to dine at a number of food vendors. On level 1 they include Agape Grill, Grazie Italiano Pizza and Panini, Big George’s Bar-B-Que and others. On level 3, food vendors include Go Gourmet, Freshen Yogurt Deserts, Taste of the East, and more.
