According to New York Daily News, the Daily News stole the Empire State Building in 90 minutes just with the use of bogus documents and false notary stamps. Most dead-beat Americans that thrive off of bogus paperwork on a daily basis are wondering just how they can get their hands on the Brooklyn Bridge. What gave away the scam? Perhaps the witnesses did not help.
Fay Ray, the original actress from King Kong seemed to have found time in heaven to be a witness, and hell must have opened it’s grounds to offer the bank robber Willie Sutton as another witness. Incredibly enough, the world of the unexplainable is wondering who called in the spirits to sign these documents because they want a cut in that action.
Riddled Popcorn Path
The clerks are not always told to sift each word in documents, so documents may slip by them. The trickery was a mind blowing humorous tale of riddles. Take the company involved. After the transfer had been rubber-stamped from Empire State Land Associates to Nelots Property LLC, no one got it right off the bat. Take a look at the word NELOTS in a mirror, and see what it spells backwards. The Empire State Building has been valued at $2 million. All anyone had to do was send their information to collect the deed, and this $2 million beauty was theirs. Most of the time, there has been a path of popcorn laid out for all to see, one just has to pay attention to the names on all paperwork.
Past Building Thefts
The Empire State Building folks, that’s massive. You can also collect a mortgage on the property, however this will cause all kinds of chaos for America’s banking systems, and financial institutions. Stealing property is nothing new for New York, and surrounding areas. Toma Dushevek stole seven (broke-down) city owned buildings ten years ago. Toma fixed the buildings and was sitting on cloud 9. That is until he was busted and had to move to cell block 8, as he spent 18 months in jail after returning the buildings. Another moment in history was Asia Smith who stole her grandmother’s house in Queens. Asia pocketed the mortgage of $445,000, and was charged after being busted. The money goes through these folks hands faster than their freedom.
She’s on Fire
After knowing this, ask yourself, is America safe anymore? Perhaps it is better done by citizens than terrorists. Even so, this crime does not pay in the end since most cases are found before someone starts living in warm island atmospheres enjoying the weath they so happily spread (in Swiss bank accounts). No one has tried to steal Lady Liberty yet. With her stairs going up, no large rooms except on the top and bottom, plus the location would offer travel difficulties, many can still see her value. But then again, she could use a make-over, a nice mid-ranged porch, and maybe a double garage. It leaves some to wonder if she is not pretty enough to steal, as other are thankful that no one wants to steal her since she is the symbol of freedom, and freedom comes with an incredible price (unless you steal it).
Now that this theft has made it to the table, the Empire State Building will possibly bring new laws to protect buildings from going through such a situation. So, if you are thinking of owning that Empire State Building, beware, the Empire strikes back!
