Fantasy Football Playoff Lineup Advice for Week 15 of the 2008 NFL Season

by yup tab

It is Playoff time in most Fantasy Football Leagues and if you are still in the running then read on. I am an avid Fantasy Football player as well as a paid writer about Football in general. Playing in 3 Fantasy Football Leagues this season I have been eliminated from one and am in the playoffs in two more.

This article will cover Fantasy Football Playoff advice for week 15 of the 2008 NFL season. I will discuss players who may not start every week and will cover Quarterbacks, Running Backs and Wide Receivers for your Fantasy Football League Playoff Lineup for 2008. Sleeprs can win playoff games in Fantasy Sports.

Quarterbacks

Chad Pennington and the Dolphins will be hosting the San Francisco 49ers who bring the 25th ranked pass defense to the game. The Dolphins are in the playoff hunt and I think Pennington will bring his A game this week.

Brett Favre has been hot and cold this year but I think he may have a big game this week against the Bills. This may be Brett’s last shot (if he retires and stays retired) and he will be giving it his all.

Tyler Thigpen has quietly been having a good Fantasy Football Season despite playing for the Chiefs. The Chargers can’t put two good games in a row on the board and Thigpen may light them up. If you have matchup problems or are in a two quarterback league then I think Thigpen can help your playoff lineup.

Jake Delhomme and the Carolina Panthers will be entertaining the Broncos who have little pass defense. Barring injury against Tampa ( I am writing this a couple of hours before the game) Delhomme may be worth a look.

Running Backs

Every Fantasy Football Playoff Teams needs good Running Backs in their lineup, read on to see my advice on who to start.

Steven Jackson and the Rams will be hosting the Seahawks and I just have a feeling about Jackson. I think he may be in for a big game against Seattle.

Thomas Jones may be in your playoff lineup anyway but if he isn’t he needs to be against the Bills.

Tatum Bell for Denver is getting a shot at picking his career back up. Carolina isn’t a good tackling team anymore. Bell could make the best of his shot and rip off a 130 yard rushing game for the Broncos. He is averaging 4.2 yards per carry in limited action thus far in 2008.

Wide Receivers

Here are some Wide Receivers you may want to consider for your Fantasy Football Playoff Lineup in week 15.

Calvin Johnson may already be a starter for you but even though he is a Lion, he is worth a look this week against the Colts.

Vincent Jackson will be playing against a bad Chiefs Secondary and is averaging an over 19 yards per catch.

DeSean Jackson has been quiet of late and may have hit the rookie wall. But I got a feeling the Eagles are ready to keep rolling and he is due a good game. And playing a Powder Puff team in the Browns will inflate his stats in time for your Fantasy Football Playoffs.

I hope you get some use out my advice for your Playoff Lineup for week 15 and good luck, unless you are playing me of course. All stats are from NFL.com.
