Unity Healthcare a non-profit healthcare provider operates the medical and dental clinic at the bread for the city’s southeast center.
New adult patients should call Mon, Wen, Thur at 9 am or Tuesday at 10 am to schedule new patient appointments. Pediatrics should call 9 am on Mondays to schedule new patient appointments and Adults 18 years and older should call Mondays at 9 am for appointments. No walk ins are accepted and appointments are booked two days in advance. The center does not accept private insurance plans.
The Whitman-Walter Clinic was established in 1978 to provide health services to the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community. They provide HIV and AIDS health care and social support, including comprehensive outpatient medical services including dental, HIV/AIDS medication, nutritional assistance, legal support for estate planning and discrimination litigation, behavioral health services, mental health, addiction, and HIV testing and counseling.
