The owners of this fan-tab-u-lous restaurant always had healthy food on their kitchen tables growing up. I don’t know if a lot of people can attest to this fact. These brothers had parents who did not take eating junk food lightly. They allowed absolutely no junk food. That means no small Mickey D’s fries, no frosty from Wendy’s late night pick-up window. Hmmm, and they managed to turn out just fine. The brothers let this strict, but positive habit follow them into their adult lifestyles. Living in San Francisco at the time, they found it hard to find affordable healthy food. They quickly found out many around them were on the same search for fresh, organic, gourmet cuisine all rolled into one. Wa-La the inevitable birth of Frisee.
