The New York Comic-Con 2009 is slated to take place February 6-8 at the Jacob Javits Center. According to the New York Comic-Con website, www.nycomiccon.com, as many as 379 different exhibitors will set up booths, and as many as 230 different guests will make appearances at this comic convention. Here is a guide of must see exhibitors at the New York Comic-Con.
According to the New York Comic-Con website, several legendary guests will make appearances at the Vanguard booth #1857. You will see featured guests Basil Gogos, J. David Spurlock, Jim Steranko, Frank Brunner, who will be signing and sketching, and Rich Buckler, who will be signing at sketching at either this booth or at Artist Alley. Guest of honor Carmine Infantino also plans to sign and sketch his autobiography at the Vanguard booth.
Oni Press will be at booth #1413. If you are interested in meeting comic book artists, then visit this booth. According to the New York Comic-Con website, many attending artists will make appearances at this booth. Talented artists such as Vasilis Lolos, Matt Loux, Rick Spears, J. Torres, Ross Campbell, Philip Gelatt, B. Clay Moore, Rick Lacy, Ray Fawkes, Anthony Johnston, and featured guest Bryan Lee O’Malley will be at the booth.
Zenescope Entertainment will be at booth #1421. Again, if you are interested in the art of comic book writing and illustrating, you must see this booth. According to the New York Comic-Con website, these artists will be at the booth: Raven Gregory, Nei Ruffino, Ralph Tedesco, Joseph Brusha, David Seidman, and Daniel Leister.
SEGA of America, Inc
The SEGA of America booth #1457 is a booth you should make sure you visit. According to NintendoRAW.com, SEGA of America plans to have a booth demoing video games such as The House of the Dead: Overkill and The Conduit and MAD WORLD. Also at their booth you just might get to meet developers from High Voltage Software and Platinum Games. You might also see some zombie surprises at the booth.
Tenacious Toys will be at booth # 867. If you are an enthusiast of vinyl art toys, then you really should visit this booth. According to PlasticandPlush.com, the Tenacious Toys booth on Retailers Row will sell vinyl toys. One new toy you might especially be interested in is the DC Direct Dark Knight Joker 1:6 Scale Deluxe Action Figure.

Hero Initiative will be at booth #1762 on the convention floor.
