Let’s say that you have a crush on a guy. He seems so perfect for you, but either he doesn’t like you, he doesn’t know you, he has a girlfriend, or some other reason. You could spend every night of your life thinking about him, but you are going to have to move on sometime. However, if the reason that you can’t date him is because he doesn’t know who you are, then find an article on how to get noticed by a guy. If he doesn’t have a girlfriend, then you don’t have to just give up so easily. If your crush is taken, then the best thing to do is move on. You don’t want to ruin a happy relationship and waiting for it to end is pointless. The sooner you move on, the happier you will be.
Figure out why you like this guy so much. Chances are there is another guy just as good or better that you can actually have a healthy relationship with. You would be much better off dating somebody that actually has feelings for you than dreaming about somebody that doesn’t have any romantic feelings towards you. If you can’t think of another guy, its not a bad thing. Don’t worry about guys and just focus on making yourself happy. Turn your interest into a hobby that you enjoy. You will meet another guy that you like eventually. Maybe you will even meet somebody when focusing on your hobbies. If he likes the same things that you do, that makes him that much better than your old crush.
It is going to be a little difficult to take your mind off of a guy that you really like, especially if you don’t have another guy to turn your attention to. To make it easier, treat yourself to rewards when you notice that he is not on your mind as much. Buying new things makes most people happier, and if it is a stylish new top then it will make you look better too.
If you are still having trouble getting your crush off of your mind, then think about every flaw that he has. Maybe you are only able to focus on the good qualities, but really dig deep and think about everything about him that you don’t like. It can be physical or part of his personality. If you actually dated this person, then these flaws would bother you much more. Every time you find your self thinking about him, remember all of the things that you don’t like. Eventually, the flaws will become what you associate him with instead of that perfect guy that he was before.
Crushes are harmless as long as you don’t let things get out of control. Keep yourself open to other options and if you find yourself obsessing, then you know that it is time to let go completely.
