Promoting your business doesn’t always have to cost the earth and take months and months, here are a few ways you can market your business, products, services and company online.
1. Use a blog. Create and write your very own blog, using such websites as www.blogger.com Let potential customers and internet users know who you are and what you have to offer. On your blog add diary/daily entries, keep people updated on latest products, prices, sales and so on. Send out a press release to let the media know your launching a blog to compliment your business. Also….consider putting a picture of you/your staff on the blog, put a face to the business, adding photos and pictures helps build both trust and confidence within your potential customers.
2. Use social networking websites such as www.myspace.com and www.facebook.com these are free to sign up for and use and can really be an effective marketing platform to launch and promote your business from. Add information on your pages about your business, about you, your prices your guarantees and much much more, join local networks, help others and get seen by potentially millions of potential customers each and every day. There are lots of options for you to choose from and utilise when it comes to using social networking sites to promote your business or company for example you could create a page for your business or even a group, get customers to add you as a friend and keep them and there friends updated on your business and products.
3. Create a video or two. Create videos on your business, your products, your staff, their bios and so on, put your videos on www.youtube.com, metacafe and similar sites. Show people who you are and what you do. Tell them about your great products, prices and offers. Let them know what they are missing out on. Remember that videos are free if not low cost/cheap to produce yet they can work wonders as potential customers and existing customers love nothing more than putting a face to a name, in this case you and your staffs faces to your business name.
4. How about writing and distributing articles both to free and paid article directories and maybe even to other websites/business that are complimenting yet not conflicting. In each article you write and distribute remember to include a short biography that includes a link to your site, your name and a brief description of your business and possibly products/service’s.
As you can see that all of these ways to promote your business–company online are free or very low cost. Remember that not every method will suit you and your business, not everything you do will be a success, but trial and error will help you achieve more online marketing success in the long run.
Good luck with your online marketing I wish you every success.
