Open from 5:pm to 2:30 am 7 days a week this years St. Patrick Day festival is not yet available on their website but will be in line with their February activities that include Caleb Clauder, Kellam Throgmorton and Foghorn Stringband to name a few. Biddy McGraw’s menu includes Irish Fondue, Potato Skins, Nachos and more ranging from $3.00 to $6.00 and their soup menu includes Stumptown Irish Stew and salad cost between $3.00 and $6.00. Sandwiches listed to choose from can be pulled pork and even a Garden Burger for the healthy eater prices from $6.00 to $8.00. Paddy’s Bar and Grill is home of the Wall. Located in downtown Portland at 65 SW Yamhill (503) 224-5626, for over 25 years it has been a great gathering and meeting place for thousands of native Portlanders and travelers of all walks of life. Paddy’s has an annual St Patty’s day event that is the talk of the town. The famous wall will get everyone’s attention even if you are just window peeking. Filled with a spirits from around the world the 14-foot ladder from floor to top will take your breath away. Happy hour is 5-7 and the menu has a selection from Steamer Clams to mini Filo Wraps 48.00 to $12.00. Salads with Marinated Steak Salad as the favorite of choice with prices of $12.00 or as low as $9.00 for Spinach after your salad perhaps a sandwich is in order. If so then enjoy a blackened chicken Club or Paddy’s Burger with a price tag of just $10.00.
O’Brien’s Irish Pub is located at 11555 SW Durham Rd. Tigard Oregon, (503) 639-6861, This year you can enjoy St Patrick Day at Obrien’s and enjoy authentic Irish foods and drinks with friends and family. Unfortunately O’Brien’s does not have a website for patrons to visit for pre-planning and a reservation will not be necessary. Although I have not tried this pub I hear that the menu is quite enjoyable and happy hour snacks are available.
