Singer Katy Perry and Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes are now engaged. Although celebrities frequently become engaged, Katy Perry and Travis McCoy represent one of the more unusual proposals. Travis McCoy had proposed to Katy Perry while they were on a romantic trip to Paris. Katy Perry discovered the ring when he kissed her, having strategically placed the ring in the mouth.

She was amazed at how original the proposal was.” Although Travis McCoy had given Katy Perry a promise ring last summer, it (literally) took a kiss to seal the engagement.
