This is a personal review of the Lasko ceramic heater with remote control, which was purchased shortly before Christmas. My boyfriend got this product for me because I needed something to take the edge off my natural gas heating bill. I love the ease of use with this Lasko ceramic heater with remote control.
This Lasko ceramic electric heater with remote control really seems to take the edge off the bitter cold that the Mother Nature seems to be dealing out this winter. It is an oscillating heater, which means when this is activated it spreads the heat around. The heat it emits is not just blown in one direction, as your vents would disperse.
Lasko ceramic heater is about 2 foot tall so you can set it on the floor to combat those cold spots but it is also small enough to set on a sturdy stand to push warmth out at a higher area. The remote control allows you to operate it with ease from any place in the room, as long as you have a direct sight for the sensor.
Lasko ceramic heater also had a digital temperature read that so you can easily see the temperature of the air it is pushing out. You control this with the remote control or you can push the numbers manually. It provides even heat, which is wonderful on these cold winter mornings.
My Lasko ceramic heater sits in the living room on a sturdy stand, but it is portable so that I can take it into my bedroom for the night. I could set it on my dresser and place the remote on my nightstand, so I can turn it on before I crawl out of bed in the mornings, there by eliminating the coldness of the room as I begin my day.
The outside of the Lasko ceramic heater stays cool to the touch so there is no need to worry about a child accidentally bumping into this and creating a nasty burn.. I use this primarily in the living room with older children and adults, but I know if my curious preschool and toddler grand children touch this out of curiosity that it will not harm them in any way.
Lasko ceramic heater with remote control sure comes in handy for the cold winter months. I do not use it all the time, but it is on every day for a few hours and had not raised my electric bill up too much. I was with my boyfriend when he bought this at Walmart for less then $50, and I seen the demo from the hardware clerk. In that demo, the clerk quickly unpacked the Lasko ceramic heater and plugged it right in. There was no assembly and I could feel the heat within seconds. That was a demo that sold me, and I wish they were all like that.
