This restaurant is located in the Westchase area of Houston, west of the city and outside of the beltway. Even though it is not close to downtown, this area offers everything and it is still growing. The restaurant hours of operation are from Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M, and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M, and it is located at 11328 Westheimer road. The restaurant opened in the summer of 2002, and it holds about 200 seats in a modern looking restaurant with an aquarium in the middle. They offer lunch and dinner specials as well as catering menu which include a wedding menu as well.
The restaurant offers a variety of wines and specialty drinks such as the Saigon Sunset which is a mixture of gin, rum, vodka and orange juice, or Le Viet night cap which is Bailey’s, Kahlua and Tuaca served with French coffee and whipped cream.
For appetizers they have different rolls with season names such as the Spring rolls which includes shrimp, sliced pork, vermicelli, and herbs wrapped inside rice paper and served with peanut sauce, the Summer roll which includes shredded pork and herbs wrapped inside rice paper; served with fish sauce; the Autumn roll which includes grilled beef, vermicelli, and herbs wrapped inside rice paper served with peanut sauce, chicken or pork available; the Winter rolls which includes tofu and herbs wrapped inside rice paper and served with peanut sauce, each for $2.95.
You can also order their hot pots, which are dishes served in pots, you can have the le Viet rice pot for $9.95 which is steamed rice topped with stir-fried mixed Chinese herbs, chopped carrot, snow peas, and a choice of chicken, seafood, or combination, but you can also the triple delight hot pot and share it, this one includes sliced beef, shrimp, and squid deep in sweet vinaigrette broth, served with fresh vegetable and rice pepper for $22.50.
Or you can order their pan seared noodles which can be flat rice noodles, flat egg noodles or thin crispy egg noodles, all served with fresh stir fried vegetables, for $9.95 and you can pick your toppings, for example chicken and vegetables or assorted seafood or even a combination.
If you prefer a more vegetarian meal, try their vegetarian menu such as the happy Buddha noodle soup for $6.50 which is vegetables and tofu with your choice of rice noodle or egg noodle, or their le Viet veggie pan-seared noodles for $8.95 which are vegetables and tofu stir-fried in oyster sauce served with your choice of pan-seared flat rice noodles or egg noodle.
