What is Lily Dale?

Lily Dale, NY has been considered the center of the Spiritualist religion since 1879.

Lily Dale, NY is a small town located southwest of Buffalo, NY. Lily Dale is off of I- 90 about halfway between Buffalo and the Pennsylvania border. The most recognizable town around it is Fredonia, home of State University of New York (SUNY) College at Fredonia.

What is a Spiritualist?

A Spiritualist believes, as the basis of his or her religion, in the continuity of life and in individual responsibility. Some, but not all, Spiritualists are Mediums (psychics) and/or Healers. Spiritualists endeavor to find the truth in all things and to live their lives in accordance therewith.1

What is the Lily Dale Assembly?

For nearly 130 years, Lily Dale has offered a world-renowned summer program of lectures, workshops and other activities featuring best-selling authors, leaders in academic and scientific research into psychic phenomena, as well as the world’s most powerful mediums, teachers and healers.2

For practical purposes, the terms Lily Dale and Lily Dale Assembly are interchangeable.

What goes on at the Lily Dale Assembly?

Numerous workshops are offered including reiki, shamanism, Native American Dance, mediumship, animal communication, ghostwalks, medicine wheel teachings, past life regression, qigong, crystal healing, mirror gazing, astrology, seances, sweatlodges, dowsing, connecting with spirit guides, the faerie and gnome realm, speaking to the dead, manifesting abundance, prophesy, spoon bending, yoga, chakra healing, lectures on Edgar Cayce, and the Law of Attraction. In addition to the many workshops that are offered, Lily Dale has meditation, message and healing services throughout the day.

What are the admission fees?

A day pass (24 hours) is $10 and an evening pass (6 pm- midnight) is $5 (per person). Weekly passes are $50 and a season pass is $195.

Gate fees include parking, daily activities, and weekly activities (unless otherwise noted). Workshops and psychic readings are not included. The workshops vary in price and many of them sell out, so it’s best to plan ahead.

The Lily Dale Assembly 2009 runs from June 26- September 6, 2009.

What are the highlights of Lily Dale 2009?

Highlights of the 2009 Lily Dale season include appearances by SciFi Channel’s “The Ghost Hunters’: Jason and Grant. These “plumbers by day, ghost hunters by night” will be at Lily Dale on July 25 & 26, 2009. Tickets are $39.

Lifetime Television’s “America’s #1 Psychic”, Michelle Whitedove, will appear on July 31. Tickets are $69.

Sandra Anne Taylor and Colette Baron-Reid will appear on August 1, 2009. Sandra Anne Taylor is a New York Times bestselling author. Colette Baron-Reid, an intuitive counselor, is best known for her books and on-line radio show on the Hay House network. Tickets are $75.
