Sharon Osbourne reunites with her Charm School pupils – with a surprise or two
Sharon Osbourne and the cast of Rock of Love: Charm School has reunited for a VH1 special. In the tradition of other shows (Flavor of Love, I Love New York, etc.), the host, cast and winner talk about the experience and reflect on certain highlights of the show. Of course a show like this wouldn’t be a show without something coming from left field. Usually it’s the contestants who go to blows and act a little crazy but not in this case. Megan Hauserman took the couch with Rodeo in a next to nothing bathing suit acting a bit buzzed and being quite rude towards her. As things progress it is easy to see that Megan has lost her bubble headed mind. Sharon is a tough cookie who refuses to take any BS from anyone – especially someone like Megan. It’s one thing to throw words at each other but when you bring in family, that’s crossing the line.
Sharon had a few words for Megan that must have hit a nerve for her; because what she did next was uncalled for. Megan went below the belt talking about what she felt was the nature of Sharon’s marriage to Ozzy. Surely a lot of you have followed the story of Sharon and Ozzy and their show The Osbounres on MTV; for Megan to act like that was disrespectful. Sharon kept her cool acting like she needed to clear her throat and threw her drink at Megan; all of a sudden she and Megan had a bit of a tussle and Megan was escorted out. Now Megan’s filed a police report about the incident. Sharon did right and she makes a good point; say what you want about her but not about her family. Megan took it too far and all she wants at this point is another 15 minutes of fame. Hopefully she’ll look back at this time and see what a bumbling idiot she was; because no sensible person is going to take her seriously. She’s acting like an innocent victim when she should take responsibility for her actions which lead to the fight; such a shame for Megan.
The Rock of Love: Charm School reunion is currently in rotation on VH1.
Sexiest Man alive to Host the Academy Awards
Australia star Hugh Jackman will be hosting this year’s Academy Awards. He breaks the traditional choice of having a comedian host the show; John Stewart was the host in 2008. This isn’t the only new detail for the show; there’s also a new director, new set designer and a new musical director offering a different look and feel for the audience. Laurence Mark and Bill Condon, the new producers of the show, are pleased with the choice of the triple threat star releasing a joint statement calling Hugh “a consummate entertainer and an internationally renowned movie star.”
Hosting an awards show is nothing new for the star of X-Men Origins: Wolverine; he’s hosted the Tony Awards three times. Instead of an opening monologue there’s going to be more song and dancing; a more spontaneous vibe is what they’re going for. The objective of changing things in the ceremony is to draw more viewers; the ratings haven’t been too well in previous years.
The nominations for the 81st Academy Awards are to be announced on January 22. The Kodak Theater in Hollywood will again be home to Oscar as the golden statues are handed out on February 22 on ABC.
