Today’s celebrity news comes from the stage with Nikki Sixx of Motley Crew losing control of his vulgar mouth, Jerry Springer to star in a musical, and Chris Brown making an apology – sort of.
Nikki Sixx, Motley Crew bass guitarist – Short Memory Creates Fan Conflict
Motley Crew’s Nikki Sixx tossed a water bottle into the crowd at the Motley Crew concert in San Diego. When the bottle came flying back at him from the crowd he has a classic celebrity melt down, as seen in a video on TMZ.
Sixx is vulgar before he has a meltdown. He can’t complete a sentence without using an explicative. There is no reining his mouth when he goes off on the fan. It’s hard to tell if he is mad because the water bottle came flying at the stage or because she interrupted his diatribe.
Nikki Sixx said vulgar things to the fan. He then took off his guitar and called her to the stage. She didn’t head toward the stage. Would you if someone were shouting vulgarities at you? By the time he finished cussing her and telling her to live he mocked her for crying.
It was a dumb move on her part to throw a bottle toward the stage, but that type of inappropriate behavior is becoming more and more acceptable, especially when the band hurls the same things from the stage into the audience.
Nikki Sixx is a grumpy old man. Yeah, I said it! He can jam on the bass guitar, but isn’t it time for him to retire? I’m sure he probably has access to some pills that will calm him down. You don’t win friends and influence people by degrading them in front of thousands of people.
Jerry Springer – From talk show host to “Chicago” star?
Jerry Springer, controversial talk show host, will perform in the musical “Chicago.” You can breathe a sigh of relief. He will be performing at Cambridge Theater in London’s West End, according to MSN.com.
I’m not sure anyone would let him star in a musical in the U.S. Reports indicate he is taking singing lessons for the part. Maybe the lessons will stick, if not, he’ll just return to the talk show circuit and spend time getting individuals to sing like canaries about their personal lives and secrets.
I’m having trouble believing he is starring in the musical “Chicago” when he should be in Chicago stirring up trouble.
According to the AP report, Jerry Springer will play lawyer Billy Flynn in the hit musical.
Chris Brown says he is “sorry.”
Isn’t this nice? Chris Brown apologized for “what transpired,” reports CNN. To jog your memory, what transpired was that he beat Rihanna black and blue.
Will fans find it in their heart to accept his apology? After all, he is adding counseling to the apology as if to legitimize it.
Fans will likely forgive him, because in reality, the drama behind the music doesn’t affect whether the majority of fans will listen or not. The fact that he beat Rihanna is simply water cooler conversation material.
I still think the guy stinks. I hope he gets the counseling he needs. The American public, by letting this slide, only condones violence against women.
