I love that commercial with the two women riding on the bus and talking. The one woman is admiring the other woman’s ridiculously large diamond ring. When she pays the ring-wearer a compliment on the ring, the ring-wearer assumes the woman is talking about the Bagel-ful she is presently munching on.
The ‘ring-wearer’ exclaims that her husband gives her ‘one’ every morning.
Somewhat perplexed by that response, the ‘admirer’ asks, ‘Aren’t you afraid someone might steal it?’ at which point the ‘Bagel-ful’ woman quickly pops the remainder of the snack into her mouth, thus deterring the possibility of theft.
Before even trying Bagel-fuls I was sure I would like them. They were bagels, made by Kraft and incorporating Kraft’s Philadelphia Creamed Cheese. The idea of just being able to grab and go made it convenient; a great plus during the morning rush!
I’ve also eaten Bagel-fuls as in between meal snacks as a healthier alternative to other snacks a little less healthy.
Bagel-fuls are indeed convenient AND delicious! They are available in a variety of flavors including; Original Plain bagel with plain cream cheese, Strawberry (plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese), Cinnamon & Brown Sugar bagel with cinnamon cream cheese filling, Whole Grain bagel with plain cream cheese, and Chive bagel (plain bagel with chive cream cheese), and now there are new Blueberry Bagel-fuls with plain cream cheese!
Bagel-fuls can be eaten right from the refrigerator, or quickly heated in the microwave. For microwave heating, just remove the wrapper and heat for 10 seconds to knock the chill off. Depending on the microwave, a longer heating time may be needed. Just be cautious of the cream cheese filling which can get pretty hot when heated, even hotter than the outer bread coating.
So far, I’ve had New Kraft Bagel-fuls in both the Original and Cinnamon & Brown Sugar varieties, which I’ve enjoyed very much.
The green ‘Sensible Solution’ flag on the 10oz box of 4- 2.5oz filled bagels lets you know that Bagel-fuls are a smart snack choice because they are a good source of Calcium, of vitamins and of minerals. Each variety of Bagel-fuls has 200 or fewer calories, 5 grams of fat, 200mg of sodium, and no trans fat.
Bagel-fuls will stay fresh in your refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Refrigerating them keeps them thawed and makes it easy to go right into the microwave. Keep Bagel-fuls in your freezer for long-term storage.
