Having a New Year’s Eve Party and looking for some ideas for non-alcoholic drinks to serve? Well I have created a list of some easy yet tasty drinks to please your guests.
The first one requires Ice Cream which may or may not go over with your adult guests, but if you are serving the kiddies they should love this one.
I don’t know what you would call it, but it looks like sea foam when you are done, so I just call it Sea Foam Breeze.
Sea Foam Breeze
1 Envelope of lemon lime drink powder (Kool Aide or similar product)
½ Cup of sugar
1 quart cold milk
1 pint vanilla ice cream
1 liter lemon lime soda (7 UP, Sprite, etc.)
In a large punch bowl, combine drink powder, sugar and milk.
Stir until the drink powder has dissolved. Next add in the ice cream a little at a time and stir, you don’t want lumps. Then slowly pour in the lemon lime soda. Remember the drink contains milk and ice cream so serve it right away.
The next drink is what I call, Cranberry Pucker.
2 (32 oz) Bottles of Cranberry Juice Cocktail (chilled0
1 Can (12 oz) frozen Pink Lemonade
1 small can (6 oz) of frozen Orange Juice (thawed)
4 cups cold water
1 liter of cold Ginger Ale
Also you will need some lemon and Orange slices for garnish.
In your large punch bowl, combine the cranberry juice with lemonade and orange juice concentrates, along with the 4 cups of water. Make sure you blend it all together smoothly. Just before you go to serve it is when you will then add the Ginger Ale and of course if desired garnish it with the orange and lemon slices.
My last one is for those who like something a little different and dare to be adventurous. However, you really need to know what your guests like, not everyone is a fan of orange chocolate.
Orange Chocolate Delight
1 small can (6 oz) of frozen orange juice (thawed)
1 ½ cups of chocolate powder milk mix (not syrup!)
1 can of water (use your orange juice can)
2 Pints of vanilla ice cream
1 (28 oz) bottle club soda (cold)
8 (12 oz) glasses for serving
In a mixing bowl, stir in orange juice with chocolate powder mix; stir together until mixture is smooth. Next, slowly stir in water.
In your 12 oz glass pour in a ¼ cup of mixture. Add a large scoop of ice cream and add soda until it’s almost reached the top of the glass.
Of course you can always use orange slices for garnish and/or add shaved chocolate to the top of each drink.
Those are just a few ideas for Non-Alcoholic drinks for your New Year’s Eve Party.
Remember whether you are serving alcohol beverages or not, make sure your New Year’s is a safe and happy one!
