The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution is sometimes misunderstood. You have to step back in time to realize it’s importance. On April 13, 1769 an article printed by the Boston Journal of the Times shared reasons behind such a law that allows citizens to bare arms. “It is a natural right which the people have reserved to themselves, confirmed by the Bill of Rights, to keep arms for their own defence; and as Mr. Blackstone observes, it is to be made use of when the sanctions of society and law are found insufficient to restrain the violence of oppression.” The British law ruled this land, colonists (Americans) did not and the colonists had to protect themselves from unlawful British soldiers. This can be found in complete at Wikipedia. After reading this, I noticed the changes of words each time the Second Amendment was re-introduced through the years. The milia section would change, however the statement “the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed” would always remain intact.
Now, before Barack Obama came the US president, he fought for gun control, expected. The news of a gun insurance cost going sky high to monsterous amounts concerns gun owners. Why? We go to January 17, 2008. In a CNSNews report Obama told the San Francisco Chronicle “… if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can,” Obama told the paper in January. “It’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.” Here’s the breakdown in another angle. If Obama bankrupts the coal industry, he may bankrupt other areas instead of taking away the rights. If you haven’t heard of this gun insurance, it is said to be $1,000,000 and thus far many citizens have a problem with this.
There was a time when Obama supported a law that if criminals steal your gun, you are held accountable. What must be views is when someone breaks a lock box to steal a gun or takes an entire locked cabinet of firearms during a robbery, the victim falls twice. Here’s another example: in 2004 a friend was murdered during a home invasion. He didn’t own a gun so he ran. They shot him in the back as he jumped out of a window to escape. If gun insurance reaches to the point where no one can afford it, that is if they find an insurance agent that would offer it to them, situations such as the ones described can occur. Gun insurance of such amounts is a criminals feast and a citizens fear.
If you own a car, in order to drive it, you must have insurance. The same applies to firearms. Here’s another example: say the border patrol allows more to cross, the government decides to impose taxes to the point of dry wells, the businesses go belly up and bankrupt, homes are taken daily as people are forced to live on the streets, gun insurance squeezes out the right to own a firearm, and no one can make more than the king. America, we may have a problem, but Obama still seems like a fair guy somehow, right?
PWW.org remembers Obama’s first victory. Obama won by a landslide in 2004 as Alan Keyes, his running-mate, killed his own chances by insulting others. After time, Senator Barack Obama had privledges that other home owners did not have. Judicial Watch released the information as Obama lived in a $1.32 million dollar home with an interest rate of 5.625 when everyone else paid 5.93 or 6 percent. Judicial Watch requested an investigation. Northern Trust admitted that they had given the loans to Barack Obama because of his position as a Senator. If he once looked out for his better interest over fair equality, it can happen again. Something to think about on your way out.
