London Fashion Week 2009 is almost here. It is one of the four, big fashion weeks of the year. The others are held in Paris, Milan, and New York. This years London Fashion Week will be held from February 21st to February 24th . The London Fashion Week is celebrating 25 years this year.
London Fashion Week is for supporting and promoting British designers and the British fashion industry. It is a bit smaller than the Paris, Milan, and New York fashion shows, but it has the ability to give more to new designers and talent because it is smaller. It gives a chance for new designers to become hits in the fashion world by letting them show off their collections to buyers and press from all over the world. They show ready to wear and accessories designers there. They usually show their collections in huge tents, and this year those tents will be at the Natural History of Museum, and other unique venues in London.
