Main Product Features:

The first feature that I want to discuss about this KitchenAid Architect Series II Microwave is its sheer size. Most countertop microwaves are under 1 cubic feet in cooking space because anything larger than that will take up a decent amount of room on your counter. However, if you have plenty of counter space and you desire to have a larger microwave, then you will greatly enjoy this microwave. With 1.5 Cu. Ft. of cooking space, you will be able to reheat casseroles without taking them out of their dish and it’s perfect for defrosting large meat products.

With a total of 1,200-Watts, this microwave has been designed to give you an extreme level of heat. When you combine this with the ten different power levels, this microwave will allow you to prepare a wide variety of foods that require unique heat levels. When you have this many options, you will be able to easily prepare difficult foods without loosing any flavor or juices, which is a plus when cooking meats.

There are several different sensors within this microwave that will constantly monitor your food while it is being cooked. These sensors have been designed to monitor certain foods, which is available through the Sensor Cook Mode menu option. Within the control panel, you will have an option to choose between several different sensor cooking modes. There are a total of seven different menu items to choose from. When you select one of these modes, the microwave will automatically adjust the time and power level for the proper cooking level. And throughout the cooking cycle, the sensors will closely monitor the food, to ensure it is not overcooked.

This microwave also features Sensor Reheating Modes, which have the same concept as the Sensor Cooking Modes. Of course, there are the standard microwave features, such as a Popcorn Mode, which uses a sensor and defrost modes.

Product Price:

This KitchenAid Architect Series II Microwave can be purchased for an average price of #375 for stainless steel. This product is available in Stainless Steel, Black and White, the black and white models are slightly cheaper.
