This past weekend I came across Febreze’s Limited Edition scents. Mostly I try and scoop up as many limited edition products as possible, because I know that as soon as the season is over, I will likely never find the scent again.
Febreze’s Limited Edition scent this season is Evergreen and Snow. I managed to scoop up 2 candles from the limited edition collection, and 2 of the Air Effects spray cans. I felt I was walking away with the deal of a lifetime, because in the store, I fell in love with the scent.
Seeing that I already reviewed the evergreen and snow candle from Febreze, up on the chopping block today is of course, Limited Edition Febreze Air Effects, Evergreen and Snow.
I found evergreen and snow to be the perfect scent for this winter season, and not to mention evergreen is a scent I cannot get enough of, so it was thrilled to see this new scent added to the Febreze collection, even if it is just for the winter season. I was hoping I’d be able to spray down the house before our Christmas Eve holiday family party in order to put a festive aroma in the air for all to enjoy.
The bottles are the standard aluminum spray can that all of the Air Effects come in. Only on the can there is a cute winter scene of a forest of evergreens covered in white snow.
Once home I got to spraying my room, the living room, and just about every room in the house. I hoped that this gorgeous scent would last for hours, fill the room with that wintry touch, and of course put me in the mood for the Christmas holiday.
The scent did just that. Limited Edition Febreze Air Effects, Evergreen and Snow smells like evergreen with a very fresh burst of what could only be described as snow. The scent was lovely. Not to overpowering of evergreen, nor was it too weak. The name truly fits the scent to a tee.
As fast as I fell in love with the wintry outdoors scent in the air though…it was gone. It seems as if you can only smell it as you are spraying it, as soon as you stop spraying the scent has vanished.
I figured okay, I may as well spray some linens, the bed, blankets, pillows, etc. I figured perhaps the fabric would soak in some of the scent and allow it to stick around longer. Sadly, like melting snow… it refused to stick.
Limited Edition Febreze Air Effects, Evergreen and Snow disperses a lovely outdoorsy winterly scent; a forest of evergreen trees, and a fresh blanket of snow is very obvious when it comes to scent, unfortunately the scent is so short lived, that it is not even worth spraying it.
Limited Edition Febreze Air Effects, Evergreen and Snow only came to $2.50 which is not a huge loss, but really it is a waste when all it does is spray out immediate vanishing fragrance. Limited Edition Febreze Air Effects, Evergreen and Snow would have been a winner had the scent been somewhat lasting. Seeing that it’s not lasting AT ALL, I recommend you skip out on this one entirely.
