I think as a mother I have found one of the greatest items for my baby. Before I had my son I was big on wanted to use cloth diapers but I wasn’t willing to handle the challenges behind using them. I’m not all that big on having to do alot of laundry and considering the fact that it seems as if I change well over 25 diapers a day, I needed something simple, fast and reliable. So I stuck with the good old trusty Huggies. They were the most dependable out of all the diapers that I had ever used. I never had a leak and considering the fact that I do alot of traveling, that’s a plus.
But lately I have been having a desire to become much more eco friendly in my buys. So I shopped around and shopped around until I ran across a new set of diapers called, gDiapers. Diapers.com is a online website that caters to the mom looking for a hot buy. Whats so special about the gdiaper? I could go on and on forever about how special these diapers are.
I might as well kick it off by answering the question that pops up in every consumers mind. How much are the gdiapers? Well they aren’t cheap I can tell you that. They are going to run you around 30 to 50 dollars. But they are well worth it, please believe me when I say this.
First and foremost, you can flush them! I was floored when I found out about the fact that you could flush the gDiaper. You have yet to be able to flush a tampon let alone a diaper. So I think alone, I was sold on that factor. I was so anxious to see if the gdiaper flushable that I bought a pack just for that reason. And yes that may be a silly reason but you must admit that it boggles your mind as well. When I received the gdiapers last month and as soon as the gdiaper touched my fingertips, I ran to the bathroom, wet the gdiaper and guess what? I flushed it and it went down with no hassle what so ever! I was stunned. I was so stunned that I flushed two more right after that! Even though I wasted three gdiapers, I still feel fulfilled, crazy I know.
The gdiaper isn’t made of cloth nor is it made of plastic. But it is a bit confusing at first. The gdiaper is and or can be used with a “little” g pant. which is available in the gdiaper starter kit.The “little” g pants can be washed and re used. The gdiaper is what you can dispose of through the toilet. I know that the only thing I didn’t really like was that the gdiaper only comes in three different sizes. I think that this kind of limits the buyer. I have never known babies to share the same sizes, not too often that is.
Gdiapers has no chlorine, no dye and no perfumes. That I found to be excellent because I’m not a fan of putting things like that against my babies skin. I barely liked the idea of me having to by Huggies. The gdiaper is all natural and not only are they all natural, I have yet to have a leak.
I think gdiapers are great for the earth because they break down after a certain time period considering it has no trace of plastic. Regular diapers don’t do anything but pile up the landfill. Everything that the gdiaper is made of reabsorbes into the earth for the good. It can’t get any better than that. I think that is the most awesome part of buying the gdiaper.
I honestly don’t think that I will be buying another diaper other than the gdiaper because of the simplicity of the gdiaper. I’m always trying to find an easier way to do things and the gdiaper has definately made my life a little more easier.
