All thoughts that we have contain energy in them.
How often in the last 24 hrs have you given thought energy to the dreams or goals that you might have? Or what about the amount of thought energy that you spend on pain or worries?
I once heard a saying that went something like “it takes less energy to create a positive thought than a negative one” and I have found this true in my own life. Worry can drain the body and mind of vital life force energy and laughter can invigorate and get those life force juices up and running again.
This week’s Lesson is to be mindful of where you are sending each and every thought that you have. You can create a flow chart of your thoughts as a kind of guide to see where you are spending the majority of your thought energy. You might be surprised where your thoughts are wondering off to.
We must first concentrate on our awareness.
Let’s say for example you want to manifest a new home but you are focused on worrying about how many bills you have currently and how many hours you need to work each week in order to pay the bills that you already have accrued then this negative energy will not materialize the home but will materialize even more lack and even more bills. This negative energy obstructs any and all positive thoughts and changes that you wish to be creating in your life.
The Universe doesn’t worry about what it is that you don’t really want in your life because it is like a computer chip.
It can only be programmed by someone that knows how to operate the machine.
You wouldn’t send a plumber in to fix a broken computer just like you can’t focus on the negative in order to manifest something positive in your life. And sometimes, in the moments of quiet uncertainty, you will still manifest something from the void and most likely it will be not at all what it was that you asked for. We have seen this great example in the movie “Bedazzled” when the guy wishes for something but keeps getting something else.
This null or void as I tend to call it still has energy attached to it in some form or another. And that is why from this moment on in order to Change Your Life For The Better you must gently discard all of the old outdated patterns of negative thinking in order to create a better thinking universe for yourself.
Remember this: You’re not what you eat… you are what you think!
As we learn about the human brain having over sixty thousand thoughts per day. Well, some get processed and most do not. And like a TV screen that flips the film frames so fast that the human eye cannot even see it moving, we don’t actually register many of these idle thoughts until one of them comes into our inner mental TV screen and makes the connection in our cerebral cortex sending off the electrical impulse of just say tying your shoe laces.
And once you have tied the shoe-lace we move back to unconscious or idle thinking again. It is not enough anymore to just try to skim through your day passively like this.
You must become an active participant in your life and in order to be in the thinking and creating process for manifesting you have to be in control of your self talk.
The brain is our central filing cabinet that stores all of our previous experiences whether pleasurable or painful. If we dwell on the painful experiences then we can sometimes feel pain. And if we over think about the pleasurable ones it can lead to addiction. Controlling this self talk is the beginning.
Did you know that the common denominator of people that have healed their body of disease is one simple thing.
They listened to what their bodies were trying to tell them.
They recognized that there was a problem and used their subconscious mind to repair the damage in their physical bodies.
Your Doctor may say something like it is all in your head and in one area of the healing matrix he is right. It is in your head. The subconscious controls or manipulates the pain in our body just as easily as it controls what we see and feel.
If the emotions are still kept bottled up inside over long periods of time the body loses its ability to produce the necessary cells which keep us immune from sickness, thusly giving way to sickness then disease. Many diseases today are stemmed from trapped or bottled up emotions. It gets proven over and over again.
