With over 20 gay friendly bars in San Diego, it can be hard to choose. Most of the bars are located in the area known as Hillcrest. Located in the heart of Hillcrest it is built for pure party perfection in and amongst a milky way of gilded driftwood. Holds a Mr. Universal contest each year and the party goers as well as visitors to their website are invited to pick their choice. Drinks are reasonable price and have an overall dynamic beat.
Urban Mos Bar and Grill, San Diego, California. www.urbanmos.com. The Bar and Grill plays different music each and every night with Saturday nights dedicated to country music and line dancing. Not only great drinks, but also hosts Sunday Brunch. All are welcome from 21 to 71 and even older. To have fun and to enjoy the eye candy, this is a great place to go.
Bacchus House, San Diego, California. www.bacchushouse.com. Quiet fun dance bar that really picks up steam around midnight. Offers two bars, but like its namesake, Bacchus, the front bar has taken the Roman Bacchus theme to the extreme and is over the top. Great place to play pool and have a drink to unwind. The front bar plays remixes of pop favorites while the back bar plays the unmixed pop favorites.
The Loft, San Diego, California. www.loftsandiego.com. A small friendly dive, a great place to drink. The drinks are great with competitive prices if not cheaper prices. The people who go there are friendly and laid back. A good place to go for a post dinner drink and possible debaucher. Has been dubbed on of San Diego’s friendliest bars.
Martini’s Above Fourth, San Diego, California. www.martinisabovefourth.com. Great food in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Has some of the best martinis in town that go well with the wide variety of dishes from appetizers to desserts. It is a swanky and comfortable cabaret lounge with indoor and outdoor bars. Additionally, you can book events.
