Visually-minded people will fall in love with Iconic Notes. The application organizes notes by using picture icons to represent each note. A short label can also be added to the notes. The icons make it easy to organize and find your notes.

Dexy

Dexy gives you the freedom to keep notes, without the hassle of having them formatted a certain way. Jot down short notes, or use it for longer ideas and concepts. It’s easy to find the note later when you search for any word you included in the note. Tip: type in a short title or unique phrase at the top of the note to increase discoverability.

QuickVoice iPhone Application for GTD

For those moments when typing up a note is not possible or desirable, use this top iPhone application for GTD. QuickVoice is a free iPhone application.

Jott iPhone Application for GTD

Another option is to sign up for the basic Jott service. It’s ad-supported and voice notes are limited to 15 seconds.

iBlueSky iPhone Application for GTD

iBlueSky is bit more expensive than other productivity iPhone applications, but it’s one of my favorites. I love using mind mapping tools for boosting creativity and exploring concepts. iBlueSky is a must for any creative person, especially if you ever face writer’s block or a block in creativity.

iBlueSky and mind mapping can also be used for problem solving, for work or for personal decision making.
