When we think of Valentines Day, our thoughts tend to revolve around flowers, a big heart shaped box of candy and if we are lucky and our sweetheart really wants to please us, maybe some pretty earrings or a beautiful necklace! But think about it, what do we usually do for our guy? He deserves a Valentines Day to remember too! Whether this is the first Valentines Day with your sweetheart or one of many, makes no difference. Make this Valentines Day, a day to remember, one that will shine above all the rest. Let him know that he is loved and appreciated as well.
The first thing you will want to do is to prepare his favorite meal. It doesn’t matter if it is canned spaghetti or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that he likes. It has to be his favorite. My guy likes bacon wrapped grilled shrimp, a medium rare rib eye steak, fully loaded mashed potatoes and brownies smothered in chocolate syrup for desert. He knows that by the end of the evening we will both be covered in the chocolate syrup!
Turn off all of the electrical lights. Let the only illumination in your home be candle light. Candles everywhere, especially on the dining table that you will set for your romantic dinner for two. This will be the beginning of your Valentines Day to remember. Place scented candles in your bedroom and bath to complete the romantic setting. Set the mood with some soft background music. Put on your sexiest outfit, you know the one, the one that just makes him drool every time you wear it. Greet him at the door, with a long, sensual kiss.
Escort him into the house by the hand and seat him on the couch. Serve him a glass of wine, or beer as it would have to be for my man, that’s his favorite. Sit and talk for a few minutes before serving him dinner. When you are ready, take him into the dining room and seat him at the table. Serve him his meal, yourself. He need not get up to serve himself, wait on him hand and foot, so to speak. As you serve the desert, take your finger and scoop up a bit and place this on his lips, then lick it off. Believe me, he will love this!
After dinner, don’t bother clearing the table, there will be time for that later. Head into the bathroom and run a hot bubble bath, that you and he can enjoy together. You washing him thoroughly. I am sure he will return the favor for you as well. When you get out of the tub, dry each other off with a luxuriously soft towel and head into the candlelit bedroom…but don’t forget to take the chocolate syrup! Let Mother Nature take her wonderful course, and enjoy your Valentines Day…A Valentines Day to remember!
