The main dining area features spacious windows for viewing the rolling waves and sandy white beach. An outdoor Tiki lounge serves an extension to the main dining area. Dancing on the deck to live music takes place five nights a week, beginning at 6 p.m. Due to the growing popularity of Sharky’s on the Pier, a “stress free seating” reservation procedure for the deck and thatched bar area is now in place.
Jimmy Buffet style music wafts through the restaurant and Tiki lounge, with the wait staff dancing along in time as they serve their customers. Musical acts which routinely perform at Sharky’s on the Pier include: Take 2 with Rene, The Crashers, Moving Target, David Moore, High Tide, The Trinidudes, and Cool Breeze.
Lunch and dinner menu items include classic American fare, along with an enormous selection of seafood and thick juicy steaks. Sharky’s on the Pier appetizer menu is larger than most restaurant main course offerings. The Gulf Starters include: crab stuffed mushrooms, conch fritters, oysters Rockefeller, buttermilk onion rings and broiled beach bread. The Mojito shrimp and Cuban pork cutlet is a new item on the menu, and has developed a large following among hungry diners. Steak, chicken, and pork combo meals range in price from $15.95-$24.95 for dinner entres. Tuscan calamari and island jambalaya are spicy and delicious when prepared by Sharky’s on the Pier trained chefs. A tofu special is also available for diners who prefer not to eat meat or seafood. When in the mood for some seafood, Sharky’s will not disappoint. Seafood items on the menu include: seafood rainforest gulf shrimp and scallops combo, ginger Thai shrimp and chicken, scampi Venetian style, seafood Aruba with mushrooms, stuffed flounder, snow crab legs and fried gulf shrimp. The large menu is frequently updated by the Sharky’s on the Pier staff.
