Too Hot to Handel – The Jazz Gospel Messiah
Handel’s Messiah is reworked into an all American musical celebration brining in elements of jazz, gospel, bebop, blues and other music. Soloists are joined by a 150 voice choir, jazz combo and an orchestra, Friday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13. $30 – $65.

Joffrey Ballet presents The Nutcracker Suite
The Nutcracker is a holiday tradition at The Auditorium Theater. Visions of sugarplums, Clara and her nutcracker Prince, graceful swans, mice and dancing toys create a childhood fantasy on stage to the music of Tchaikovsky. Performances on December 18-28. $25 – $100.
